SEA HUNTER 7-13 FLUKE REPORT UPDATE

Its been a up and down week with the fishing. We have had some good trips and also some not so good. We have been checking out some different areas, some spots have been good but only for a drift or two then they get cleaned up.  There are some spots that are holding fish but there are hardly any keepers, I had guys with  25 to 30 shorts but no keepers and I had Paul Palazzi who comes out once a week and is happy to catch one or two keepers and he had his limit including the pool fish of 5.1 lbs. Sunday morning Bobby Swerida from Bridgewater NJ had 3 keepers and took the pool with a 7 lb fish.Today we had 4 fish between 5 and 8.1 lbs The 8.1 was caught by Tim Ellis from Staten Island. The Gulp baits seem to be working best for the bigger fish. Also working the baits as always produces more fish as opposed to just holding the rod still There is definitely a little  luck involved in fishing but the people who put in a little effort will usually put more fish on the deck. Here are a few pics to look at of the pool winners and a few others. We are fishing every day twice a day. Don't let the weatherman scare you away with the thunderstorm threats they are wrong most of the time. See you soon, Capt. Rob
