SEA HUNTER 9-26 STRIPER REPORT

Sorry another late report, just got home. Well today was a better day then yesterday. Not as good as Saturday but enough to know you were Striper fishing. about a 60-40 mix of keepers and shorts. The shorts being the 60. A couple guys caught there two keepers some one and some none. Im pretty sure almost everyone at least caught a short Striper. Sorry no pics tonight, I left the camera on the boat but i will post them tomorrow afternoon.

SEA HUNTER 9-25 STRIPER REPORT

Sorry about the late report i just walked in. Not like yesterdays fishing. Started out looking good birds working, we made a few drifts all we could get were Blues. I did see a few bass getting caught in the fleet that was there but it was not like yesterday. Boat traffic made it hard on us. Tomorrow should be a better day. I will let you know.

SEA HUNTER FIRST STRIPER TRIP OF THE FALL TODAY 9-24

We started our fall Striper fishing today. The only thing that was disappointing was the number of people that showed up. The weather man screwed up again, beautiful day on the water and a good amount of Stripers, A good amount of keepers and plenty of shorts. We used clams and jigs today and everyone caught and went home with Stripers. We will try and do it again tomorrow.

See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 9-16

The amount of participation from the public has been slim down the harbor during the week. Out of 8 Party Boats we have been combining our people to get a few boats out. The action seems to have picked up and a few nicer fish have been caught when conditions are favorable. If you want another shot at catching some Fluke you only have another week left. The season closes on Sept. 25th. I'm gonna try to hang in till then, then I will switching over to STRIPERS. I hear from a few reliable sources that a few are starting to show up!!
See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 9-11 REPORT

All I can say is the fishing is very slow rite now. Not sure if the Fluke are gone, or the dirty water is to blame. We catch a few but I can honestly say is it is not good. I will still be there in the morning if anyone wants to give it a try. I would say your best bet would be to give me a call because the amount of people showing up during the week is minimal most days not even enough to get us out. I will keep you informed to what goes on.
Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 9-8

No report as we have not left the dock all week. The weather is horrible. No boats getting out. I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow, The weather man as of now is calling for a chance of thunder storms. If you plan on taking a shot tomorrow give me a call so i can see if there is any interest and i can get a idea of how many people may show up and save you a trip down if there is not much interest. Capt. Rob (732) 291-4468
Thanks

SEA HUNTER 9-4 Finally back on line

I hope everyone is OK after the storm. Its been hectic around here! One thing is for sure it took its toll on the Fluke fishing. Its been a struggle we are getting a few fish but its not easy. Only a few spots are holding a few fish other spots have been barren. The bottom really got churned up. I hope that we get another good shot of fish before the season ends on September 25th. Only time will tell. As always we go out and do our best.
Hopefully better days are coming, Capt.
