SEA HUNTER 9-7 WEAKFISH AND BLUES

Sundays fishing was not even close to Saturdays. A slow pick in the morning Weaks and Blues, the afternoon was horrible East winds at 25 knots up against the tide, i made three drifts in the channel but the rolling was so bad i had to move to calmer waters. we did manage a few Weakfish in the channel but that was about it. Monday was a different story good morning conditions in the channel, and there was a promising sign of the Weakfish, as we caught them every stop. Chris Stock had four keepers. The afternoon was another story. horrible conditions there was no drift till the last hour and that was on slack water. We ended up with a few Weaks and around 15 Blues. Now i am going to take a little vacation. I will check the weather and the fishing reports and may fish next weekend. If i don't fish the weekend 9-12 and 13 I will definitely start 9-19 for Stripers on the fall schedule 7:30 till 2:30

Thanks, and i will keep you posted, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 9-5 WEAKFISH AND BLUES REPORT

Started the day today looking for the Weakfish, I made a few drifts no good. I saw some birds working so we went to investigate hoping the Weakfish were under the Blues, well they weren't it was all Blues and plenty of them. Ended the morning trip with plenty of Blues and no Weakfish. the afternoon trip i hit a different area and had two weaks on the first drift and lost one at the boat on the second drift and none on the third drift so we went looking and found a bunch of Blues and caught them very good for a couple hours, and then tried for Weakfish again. We ended up with four keeper Weakfish and seven shorts and about 150 Blues for the afternoon trip. Everyone had a great time on both trips It was alot of fun.

FLUKE 2009 IS CLOSED AS OF 9-4 WE START WEAKFISH AND BLUES ON 9-5
