SEA HUNTER 6-28 FLUKE REPORT

We have had some good trips and some slower trips. It seems like we can always get some action with the smaller Fluke but some trips the bigger ones are harder to get. We did have our first two limit one on Thursday morning and one on Friday afternoon. There are definitely some nice big fish around mixed in with the shorts. I had a few calls with people concerned with the weather as far a sea conditions. We are primarily fishing in the bay and it has been very calm. One thing about our location is we can always find calm places to fish. Today there was  4to 6 foot seas forecasted in the Ocean and the Bay was flat calm so don't worry about getting sea sick.
Here are some pics.
Hopefully see you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-24 FLUKE REPORT

After a not so great morning with the keeper Fluke, The conditions didn't help us at all the drift was very slow. On my last drift of the morning we did get a little better drift and boated three nice keepers including a 5.6 lb pool winner. In the afternoon I went rite back to the same place and everything fell into place. All i can say is if you were not on the SEA HUNTER you missed out.We had a great afternoon with many quality fish in the 3 to 4.5 lb bracket.Steve Monetti  AKA the chicken eater from yesterdays report who was out and was the only one without a keeper came back with a vengeance today. Steve boated 4 keepers up to 4lbs and threw back 25 shorts. There were 6 or7 people with 3 keepers and out of the 21 people on the boat I think only two didn't get a keeper. The pool winner was Marcy Deposit from Middletown with a 6.1 lber.It was our best trip of the season so far. The action was non stop all afternoon. Like I always say you never know whats going to happen from day to day and every trip is different. Here are some pics of only some of the catch. I will leave this post up for a few days before i put up another one. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-23 FLUKE REPORT

We only made the morning trip today and with a lite crowed. We stayed in one area and picked away each drift with keepers and shorts. By the end of the day everyone went home with a nice Fluke dinner except for Steve, who kept count and ended up with 14 shorts two Sand Sharks, two Sea Robbins and one skate. It wasn't from lack of effort, Steve worked hard at it today, but he will be eating chicken tonight. Tomorrow looks like a great day to be on the water. Hopefully you can make it down. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
