SEA HUNTER BLUES 5-2

Left the dock today feeling good. A nice east wind, That usually gets the Stripers going. Headed into the ocean a little nasty at the start of the day but not so bad. We hit a few areas of birds down the beach but only Blues. We headed a Little further South and the same thing, Blues. By 11:00 the wind picked up a little more, and it was nasty. Started heading back to calmer waters. Before i got there i tried one drop on the clam beds with the bait. There was no current and only a couple skates and a Fluke came up. I pulled anchor and headed for the bay as i hit the calm water there were birds hitting the water so we threw the jigs at them and pulled in some more Blues. We made one last drop with the bait and could only come up with a short Bass.It sounded like the guys who put the time in with the clam baits caught a few Stripers today but it wasn't good. Tomorrow is another day, and the weather sound nicer. See you then, Capt. Rob
