SEA HUNTER WEEKEND 7-20 AND 21 REPORT

 First off it was a hot weekend we did have a breeze which helped but it was still hot. This seasons reports are like a broken record. There are plenty of shorts around but not lots of 18 inch fish. If the powers to be would cut us some slack and give us a 17 inch size limit we would be doing OK. We did have a few nice seabass today along with the Fluke.  Unfortunately it is not so. So there are plenty of shorts around but not enough keepers. Thankfully we are catching fish to keep everyone interested. we are fishing everyday. See you soon, Capt. Rob

 

SEA HUNTER 7-19 FLUKE UPDATE

Not much has changed except we didn't fish yesterday. We catch the shorts with a odd keeper. Again with the crazy rigs. If you not a person who fishes all the time. Your best bet for success is a plain rig with no junk on it. Put a piece of gulp and a spearing . Don't go spending money on the fancy stuff it hardly ever works, Like I tell my daughter Get good before you get fancy. Here are a few pics

SEA HUNTER 7-16 and 17 FLUKE REPORT

We cant complain about the amount of short Fluke that are around, I just wish there were more 18 inchers. We are throwing back some really nice fat fish that have been just a little short. we are getting keepers daily but not any amount. I will post some pics tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER MONDAY 7-15 FLUKE REPORT

We had to change things up a bit today as there was not much wind or current where we have been fishing. We did get some nice size fish but not the fast action with the shorts that I like to see.  The pool winner was a little over 4 lbs. and we had a few just under that. We keep plugging away every day. the weather looks good tomorrow, we hope to see you, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER WEEKEND FLUKE UPDATE

There was not much of a drift yesterday but we managed to pick most of the day with a few keepers mixed in. Today the conditions were better and so was the action and a few more keepers then yesterday. Tom Salerno took the pool with a 6.2 lb. Fluke today. We will be back at it tomorrow!
