SEA HUNTER THURSDAY 4-18 BAD WEATHER VERY GOOD STRIPER FISHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YES WE ARE FISHING TOMORROW!!

That's the way it usually goes, everyone try's to pick the nicest day to go fishing and the fish don't bite as well. Today we had half the amount of people on the boat and caught  more then twice as many fish as we caught yesterday. It was a very good day! Plenty  of Stripers A early boat limit then catch net and release for the rest of the day. we even docked a little early.  The pool winner went 41.6 lbs. and was caught by Sam Giacobbe from Bluebell PA. We will be back at it again tomorrow.
See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTERR WEDNESDAY 4-17 STRIPER REPORT !!!

All in all a very good day! Better then I expected knowing the amount of boat traffic that was going to be out there.  Our first stop was the best as there were not many boats in the area I was in. The boats were pretty spread out when I first got out there as it was slack water and not much was happening. We found some good readings on the fish finder and started picking away. Nothing crazy but good fishing. After that the bite was ok  for the rest of the day. Some drifts produced good and others just a few fish. The fish were really spread out because of all the boats racing around, . We ended up with a nice crowd of people today I would say at least half the boat threw fish back while a few were a little rusty and just couldn't get in the groove. I would sign a contract to have every day like today! We will be back out there tomorrow!! Here are some pics of some of the fish caught today
We are fishing every day except Easter Sunday See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER TUESDAY 4-16 HOLY STRIPERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday was great fishing, so I'm not sure what word to use for today. I have been doing this over 30 years and have seen lots of great days but today was in the top ten maybe even in the top five. It was crazy out there Myself and the two deckhands netting fish 10-15 on at a time on a few occasions. We were throwing fish back at 9:30.I'm not sure how many we threw back but if I was to guess it would be around 200 keepers. Greg from Staten Island  kept count and he hooked 19 keepers. There was around ten shorts but most of the fish were in the teens and twenties, The pool winner went 26 lbs. and was caught by Mike Casale from Dingmans ferry PA. It was a pleasure out there I was the only party boat and there were around 10 charter boats, all professionals with no weekend warriors driving around like maniacs putting the fish down. We went up on the drifts slow (because we could) not spooking the fish and set up on nice long drifts. The only downfall was there weren't many people today. Tomorrow is another day. We will see what happens.
See you soon I hope, Capt. Rob
