SEA HUNTER 7-25 FLUKE UPDATE

We have had excellent action with the shorts with some nice keepers mixed in when we get a nice drift. Today on the morning trip we had people with 25-30 fish. High hook was three keepers, some of course didn't have any keepers but caught plenty of shorts. We will be running our normal morning trip tomorrow Saturday 8am-12:30pm but we are chartered in the afternoon. Sorry i don't have any pics as I left the camera on the boat. I will post them in my next report. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-22 FLUKE UPDATE

The past few days were a bit of a struggle. Today very slow drift and a few nice fish but not much action. The afternoon trip today was a totally different story. We had great action with some very nice keepers mixed in. The first fish to hit the deck in the afternoon was 6.9lbs caught by George Bowden from red Bank NJ. He had two nice keepers in the afternoon and lots of shorts. The second biggest fish was5.9 lbs caught by Mark Creyz from Hazlet NJ he also went home with two nice fish and lots of shorts.Hopefully the Fluke will keep coming. One thing for sure every trip is different and you never know what will happen. And you wont catch them sitting on the couch. Here are some pics. See you soon, Capt, Rob

SEA HUNTER 7-18 UPDATE

I wish I could tell you that the Fluke fishing broke wide open and we are catching like crazy. But i cant be like others and try to make it sound better then it is. We pick at the Fluke and that's how its been. We get some drifts that are good and others that are not. Some people may get two or three keepers on a Half Day trip while others only get shorts.   And that's the way the season has been going for everyone. The one thing I can say that there are some big Fluke around. We landed our biggest on Friday afternoon a 9.9 lber caught by Vinny Corving from Newberg NY. And there is usually a few big Fluke on each trip from 4 to 7 lbs.
If you haven't fish with us before come and give us a try. One thing is for sure you wont say He stayed in one spot all day and didn't try. I try my best every trip.So come down and see us for a nice day on the water. Here are some pics. See you soon, Capt. Rob
