SEA HUNTER 11-21 STRIPER REPORT

We had a super morning bite today with the Stripers, and not as many Blues as yesterday. The bite slacked off around midday and then started picking back up the last couple drifts. There were guys with over 20 Stripers. One thing I must mention, you must put some effort into jigging for Stripers. You cant just hold the Rod and lift the jig once in a while. Most of the fish are caught on the retrieve that means you must turn the handle on the reel. The jig must look like a bait fish in the water not a hunk of metal. I had a couple guys today that only caught Dogfish and we caught an easy three hundred Stripers today, not all keepers but Stripers and that doesn't include the Bluefish. We try to help the people that aren't catching but there is only so much we can do. There is definitely a little skill involved some guys catch on quick and others not so quick. The more you do it the better you will get. Its like any sport practice makes perfect. Once you get it and get good at it that's all you will want to do. It is my personal favorite way to fish. One more thing we are planning to do our annual Thanksgiving day trip  6:30am till 11:30 am. The weathermen are talking about a coastal storm around that day. It is a long way off and you know they are not always rite.(Except for you George LOL) If they are rite and we wont be fishing I will post it on my fishing report the day before so you don't make the trip for nothing. SEA HUNTER 11-20 STRIPER REPORT

We had a good day today. Plenty of action all day with Blues, Short Stripers and Keeper Stripers. Some guys couldn't get a keeper but the shorts and blues kept them busy. Some guys managed the limit. Others did the limit plus the bonus fish and others had one keeper. Everyone caught fish today and had a good time and that's what it is all about. Tomorrow and Fridays weather looks good so if you can get off work and want to catch some fish your chances are good. I'm looking at the extended forecast for the weekend and if you plan on getting out Saturday may be your only shot. As of now they are calling for 30 to 35 knot winds on Sunday and if that holds true we will not be fishing Sunday. I will keep you posted if any changes occur. Here is some of the catch.

SEA HUNTER 11-19

We didn't fish today. Starting feeling a little under the weather yesterday. I felt horrible last night and when I woke up today so I cancelled todays trip. I'm on the mend now and I will be there tomorrow ready to fish.

SEA HUNTER NO FISHING TODAY

I guess the Strong storm predicted For early Monday morning kept you home today. The couple calls I did get last night I told them to check the weather in the morning and make your decision. It turns out only two people showed up for us today. The weather here is very nice and it would have been a good day to get some Stripers. If we only knew this last night. Any way I have the day off from fishing but not a day off from work, there is always something to do when you own a boat. If you don't know what boat stands for its Break Out Another Thousand. Just a reminder we are doing our annual Thanksgiving day trip the hours are 6:30am till 11:30am. Noon would be the very latest we will dock so you can still make it home for dinner.

SEA HUNTER 11-17 STRIPER REPORT

A much better day today! We had good action today. We had one drift that lasted about a hour with fish under the boat. I would have liked to have gotten more keepers, but after yesterdays fishing today was a good day. The pool winner went 27.5 lbs. second biggest was 20 lbs.
