SEA HUNTER 5-10 STRIPER REPORT

We started with the shads today and had a couple fish follow them to the boat and we had one hooked for two seconds .After I was frustrated watching the guys trolling catch all around I left the area  and anchored up and used bait, we caught two shorts then the current went slack and that was that. I went in search mode in a few different arras but nothing materialized. I give a report truthfully good or bad and this one is bad. We had our first trip without a keeper today. I will do my best to get revenge tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-9 STRIPER REPORT

We had a nice bunch of people on the boat today. We left in dense fog and started searching .I had some of my good fishermen on the boat and I knew if it was like yesterday we would have had a good day.To make a long day and a long story short it was pretty miserable out there. We did see fish on the fish finder at times but not like yesterday. I did see the boats that were trolling catching some, and right next to us at times but that was about it. I stuck to the shads all day hoping for that one good drift that would make the day but it didn't happen, We had one keeper one short and lost one. Its been a crazy spring so far and I never know what's  going to happen out there day to day. All I can do is do my best.  Thanks to those who fished with us today. I really tried for you, believe me I want to catch fish as much as you do. We will be back a t it tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-8 THINGS ARE LOOKING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We started the day in jig mode. Birds working, white water. super readings on the fish finder, but,still not easy to catch. We managed to catch some but.we lost way more then we boated.. The fish were all nice in the 20 lb. class we caught most of them on the shads. The pool winner was just under 30 lbs. It was a welcome site after the past week. There were a few nice areas of Stripers it wasn't just one spot.After that was done we caught a few on the anchor with the bait. Bring down your casting gear and if you don't have the right shads we have them on the boat. I'm looking foreword to tomorrow. Ill se you then, Capt. Rob

Sea Hunter 5-7 Striper report

We only landed a few keepers today.  On my third drop of the day I had the best marks on the fishfinder that I’ve had all year.  We anchored and I expected fish on right away and we didn’t even have a hit. I expect good things to happen out there.every time I leave the dock. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day . Just remember when you read the good report you missed it. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 5-6

It was another slow day. We saw fish rolling on top super marks on the fish finder we were throwing shads and landed a few nice fish but not enough. The boat traffic killed that pretty quick so we went to the bait only to catch some shorts. From what I see there are lots of Stripers in our area and when they are ready to eat we will be there. We will be back out tomorrow. Hopefully catching lots of Stripers. Ill see you soon, Capt. Rob
