SEA HUNTER 5-5 STRIPER REPORT

We are finding a few fish but its not good fishing. We did have more keepers today then yesterday and I had some good marks on the fish finder today, more then the past few days but the Stripers are not cooperating my guess is they are spawning and once they are done doing their thing they should be hungry. We will be back out there tomorrow, See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-4 STRIPER REPORT

It was a slow day today, Our first drop we had a pick on the shorts but no keepers. I went looking for the bigger fish but they where far and few between. We ended up boating 3 keepers along with some shorts and also lost a nice fish due to operator error, the line broke. The boat is out on a charter at the moment with Capt. Howard and the camera so I will post todays pics late tonight or with tomorrows post. I will see you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-3 STRIPER REPORT

Sorry my computer is giving me problems so I am doing this off my phone. The fishing has slowed up the past couple days . We did catch some keepers and shorts today but not as good as it’s been. I will try to get pics up later on tonight from my daughters lap top when she gets home. Thanks for checking in,  Capt Rob
Here are todays pics. And we lost the biggest at the boat hooked by Paul Shuckalo

SEA HUNTER 5-2 STRIPER REPORT

Well the weather was great. We had our best crowed of the year and of course the Stripers did not cooperate. We caught a few fish first thing in the morning on the Shads, then everything vanished. I did lots of looking at a blank fish finder for the rest of the day. I did anchor up on a spot I have and caught a few keepers and shorts but it was not enough. I did my best but I couldn't find a good bite.tomorrow is another day. Hopefully a better one. See you soon, capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-1 STRIPERS!!!!!!!!!

We had a nice welcomed surprise first thing in the morning. The stripers were up on top hitting bunker. We made some drifts with Shads, diamond jigs and bunker chunks and had a blast with all nice keepers. When that ended we went to the bait and caught some more. Everyone went home with a Striper dinner. If you haven't been out yet this year make sure you check your line on the reel. If its old or frayed get rid of it and put new line on.I see to many people break fish off with line that is not up to par. I recommend ANDE pink 20 to 30 lb test. Braid is not needed or recommended. Also check your drags do not fish with a light drag, when you go to set the hook you want the hook to penetrate. I hope we can do the same thing tomorrow. Fishing and weather looks good so I will see you soon.
Capt. Rob
