SEA HUNTER 11-9 STRIPER REPORT

Not like yesterday. Started the day with a shot of short bass and a few Blues. Then we proceeded to where we were yesterday. Ha some really good marks on the fish finder but the fish didn't really cooperate. We caught some fish almost every stop mostly short Stripers and a few Blues, but it wasn't what I call good. Tried a few stops on the way home but only a handfuls of shorts.I figured i would look at one more spot before I went in. As I got close i picked up the binoculars to take a look at first I thought it was a mirage there were no boats but it looked like all kinds of birds very tight to the water. As i got close it was no mirage.Stripers were swirling all over and loads of birds were diving. We had a couple good shots before the tide went slack and it was all over. It didn't save the day but it made it much better. We caught a bunch of shorts and a handful of keepers out of it. Who knows where we will be tomorrow but if there are Stripers around I will do my best to be there. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-8 STRIPER REPORT

We had very good  action today with the big Blues. We kept hitting different areas but we couldn't get passed the Blues We found a couple schools with a good amount of Stripers mixed in but they were mostly all shorts. The pool winner was a 29 inch Striper today. The Blues were between 8 and 15 lbs. Anyway it was a fun day everyone caught fish. We will be back at it again tomorrow. See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-5 STRIPER REPORT

A very frustrating day today. We had birds popping up with fish under them but the boat traffic was unreal today the fish only seamed to be in a couple areas so when the fish popped up everyone was racing to them and knocking them down. Paul Schuckalo had the hot hand and boated two keepers including the pool winner that went 19 lbs. He also lost one big keeper rite at the boat, Lets just say a good friend of his sabotaged him on that one. There was only one other keeper caught. We did have some shorts and Blues but it was not a good day. The weather sounds a little wet tomorrow but we will be there and if enough people show up we will be fishing. Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-4 STRIPER REPORT

Not a very good day today we had a few shots at the fish but had a hard time catching them. Even when the fish finder lit up with marks and i thought everyone should be hooked up we would only have a couple on. We did lots of searching most areas only produced some shorts. We did end up with a handful of keepers. The pool winner went 17 lbs. Tomorrow is another day it looks like a nice one. Hopefully tomorrow we get the big ones.

SEA HUNTER 11-3 STRIPER REPORT

We had a very good morning bite with the Short Stripers some Keepers and plenty of big Blues. We caught them all on diamond jigs and rubber Shads.  I know lots of other boats struggled today as the water was very dirty after the two day blow and it sounded like there wasn't any life except where we just happened to be. Rite place at the rite time. Anyway tomorrows a new ball game hopefully the water cleans up after a few tide changes and the Stripers will be all over the place tomorrow. One things for sure we will be out there to find out. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
