SEA HUNTER 5-12 STRIPER REPORT

We started the day off like gangbusters. It looked like this was going to be the day we were waiting for. We had them coming as many as four on at once. Then they just shut down. Either we caught what was there or they just stopped biting. I sat about 20 minutes we finally got another one on and lost it. I waited another ten and picked up anchor and looked around. I made another stop and only one fish. After that everything vanished. I saw plenty of bait it looks like more and more bunker are moving in and that's a good thing. Any way a good start and a lousy finish. Here are some of today's catch.

SEA HUNTER 5-10 STRIPERS!!

What a nice day today. I was very surprised for such a nice day and the boat was empty. If you thought about coming down and changed your mind you you missed out. Plenty of Stripers both shorts and keepers  mixed together. We are fishing Mothers day if you can make it hopefully we can do it again.

SEA HUNTER 5-9 STRIPERS!!

A better day today! We  had a keeper ten feet from the boat within the first ten minutes of fishing that spit the hook. We had another nice one follow the bait to the boat. then we caught a few shorts. then nothing. Went on the hunt and found some really nice marks on the fish finder. I told the guys if we didn't catch here i was going to shoot myself. and luckily some of the Stripers did bite. From what i saw on the fish finder it should have been a slaughter but we did manage some nice size Stripers out of it. After the past couple days of seeing fish that wouldn't bite I was happy some of these cooperated. Everyday is different and ill give it hell again tomorrow. And we are fishing on Mothers day on the same schedule. Here are some of today's pics.

SEA HUNTER 5-8 STRIPER REPORT

Not a good day weather or fishing. One keeper and a handful of shorts. The way it looks is the Stripers are getting ready to spawn. Stopping on good readings that aren't producing is frustrating. the good thing is the fish are there. And when they are ready to eat we will be there to catch them. I'm hoping its tomorrow.
