SEA HUNTER 5-7 STRIPERS

All I can say is it wasn't like yesterday. I can think of a few excuses but I'm really not sure whats going on this year. This has been a very weird spring so far. We cant get consistent good fishing and every day is a new challenge. I will give it hell again tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER 5-6 STRIPER REPORT

If you were to pick a day weather wise this was to come out fishing this was the one you wanted.  Warm weather, calm seas, gentle breeze and even nice size Stripers to top it off. We even caught a Fluke that was just under 9 lbs that we had to release as the season is closed. That was a heart breaker It wasn't fast and furious fishing but I was very happy considering the past few days. Some had limits,some limits plus bonus others one and some none. And that's exactly how it went today. The biggest fish was 23 lbs. I hope we can repeat it tomorrow. Here are some pics from today.

SEA HUNTER 5-4 STRIPER REPORT

It  was a struggle today. The wind was honking we had gusts to 40 today. Of course we had the current going the opposite way of the wind. The good news is the bay water is clearing up. The Stripers we did catch were in the bay. Tomorrow going to be a little windy again not as bad as today but the conditions will be the same as today. If tomorrow is the only day you can make it out we will be there giving it a shot. If you have a choice I would pick another day.  I hate turning away business but I'm telling you what i think tomorrow  will be like. I want you to come out and catch fish and have a good time that will bring you back. I don't want to BS you and give hyped up exaggerated reports. I tell you how it is!  Thanks for checking in.

SEA HUNTER 5-3 STRIPERS

I headed out with a plan today. Unfortunately there was  a hundred boats in the area I wanted to start everyone and his brother was out today. Boats from every marina were all in the same area.and that usually doesn't work out well . A few boats may get lucky but most wont. I made a course change and found solid readings on the fish finder two boats trolled past and had fish on. I dropped anchor and waited for the bite to start, I thought this was going to be it. I waited 25 minuets and nothing. I pulled anchor and looked around and found a little something that looked like it was going to develop but it never really got going. All in All not a very good day the water in the bay was cleaner today but it will take a few more tide changes to get it back to normal.We will get back out again tomorrow and give it hell. SEA HUNTER 5-2 STRIPERS

We had a hard time getting things going today. After three days of not being out it was like a whole new ball game. We started back where we have been getting the fish but after riding around and seeing how dirty the water was  and not seeing very much on the fish finder I made a drop on a very small reading and sat for 15 to 20 minutes and nothing I picked up anchor and went looking. To make a long story short I found some fish at the end of the day. I know where to start tomorrow! Here are some pics.
