Well that's it another Fluke season in the books. We ended up catching some nice size Fluke today, 4 over 4 lbs. and the pool winner went 5 lbs. along with some other keepers and some short action mixed in. We will take a little vacation now and then hit the Stripers sometime around the first week in October, Thanks so much to everyone who fluke fished with us this summer. Ill see some of you for the fall Striper run. I will post again around the end of the month and let you know when we will start with the stripers.

Thanks again and Ill see you in October, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER WEDNESDAY THE 16th

It looks like more bad weather moving in on Friday and Saturday. So it looks like tomorrow will unofficially be the end of the Fluke fishing for us. Today the seas were not bad at all there still was a swell but it was much nicer then I thought. The fishing on the other hand had lots too be desired . When we did find a few fish we lost the drift and had to move on. Tomorrow is another day We will do our best. After tomorrow I will be taking a little time off and then start our Fall striper fishing. Probably the first week in October.  See you soon, Capt. Rob

WE ARE OFF MONDAY AND TUESDAY AND WILL RESUME WEDNESDAY AND FISH TILL SATURDAY 9-19 THE LAST DAY OF THE FLUKE SEASON

SEA HUNTER SUNDAY 9-13 ARDUOUS FLUKE FISHING

Well we headed in the ocean today, unfortunately we couldn't stay long. About 90% of the passengers were a little under the weather. The wind was blowing harder ten forecasted so we had to run for cover in the bay . There is a reason we have been fishing the ocean the past month and that's because of the lack of keepers in the bay. I can tell you first hand they didn't restock. with that being said we will not be fishing again till Wednesday. It really sucks its the last week of the season and the fishing has been pretty good with some nice size Fluke.  The last day of the Fluke season is Saturday 9-19. Here is the marine forecast under the pictures for the next few days and you can see for yourself why I am cancelling. the next two days and will start again on Wednesday . Here are pics from the other day

See you from midweek on. Capt. Rob

Mitch who started the season not one of the better fishermen
But he paid attention and turned into a superstar the past two weeks
Good work!!

SEA HUNTER TUESDAY 9-8 FLUKE REPORT

I was looking foreword to today after yesterday. We had a bunch of regulars onboard and I really thought we would do it again today. As the old story goes you shoulda been here yesterday. I worked the area hard but it wasn't happening.  I bounced around and we caught some keepers and a couple big ones and lost a few nice fish about half way up and had one limit but after yesterday I was disappointed. Tomorrow is another day and we will  be out there trying again. It looks like Wednesday and Thursdays weather is ok but Friday doesn't look good. They are talking 5 foot seas in the ocean and that's only place to catch any amount of keeper Fluke .Just giving you a heads up if you were planning on fishing Friday.

See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER SATURDAY AND SUNDAY REPORT 9-5and 6

We struggled on Saturday with the keepers but I came out looking for revenge today and got it!! Very good day plenty of action a nd a good amount of keepers. there were 3 people with limits including my daughter who came out for the first time this year. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Doug the Duke also had his limit and a 5 lb pool fish. Paul Schuckalo was out yesterday and had one keeper but redeemed himself  today with a limit including a 4 lber. One thing for sure is you must put some effort into it if you want to catch keepers. Continuous bouncing of  the sinker  The people with limits never let that sinker just drag bottom, its always bouncing. And 5 or 6 inch Gulp I do sell it on the boat if you don't have it. I sell it for $7.00 a bag and that's cheaper then most tackle stores. Tomorrow looks like another beautiful Day. and we will be back out there. Fluke season is over on 9-19 So time is running out. See you soon, and be safe. Capt. Rob
