The Stripers vanished from our area or just were not that hungry today. The bait is still there, the water temp only dropped a half a degree I'm not sure what happened but it was a lousy day that I know for sure. After having two of our best days this fall, back to back this week and not catching today is not the way I wanted to end the season but it happened. We caught about a dozen shorts and one slot fish on some very scattered marks on the fish finder. Looking at the long range forecast with not many nice days in it I decided just to call it a season. Thanks to everyone who fished with us this year. All in all a good Striper spring and fall but a lousy Fluke season, Have a safe and healthy and safe winter and a great holiday and I will see you in the spring of 2020.
