SEA HUNTER 11-11 STRIPER REPORT

The day started off with lots of looking. Before I left the dock I could see loads of birds in our bay. It looked like it was gonna be a easy day. When I got out into the bay everything vanished. So I took a ride  and went back to the area we beat them up on Monday, only to find nothing. No bait no birds it was barren. So we headed back to our bay and found some bird life but only a couple fish were caught.  So I went looking again and luckily found some hungry Stripers and big Blues. It wasn't super fishing but we salvaged the day with a bunch of short Stripers, keeper Stripers and big Blues. Harry Hunt took the pool with a 15 lb Striper he also had 4 shorts and 5 big Blues. Don't forget about those bonus tags I only have seen a few people with them and most of the Stripers today fell into the 26inch category and we had to throw them back. I know lots of guys say they sent in for them but have not received them in the mail yet. So if you plan on getting them don't wait to long because the season may be over before you get them. I don't know what the hold up is but they are not sending them out very fast. We will be back out there tomorrow.
