SEA HUNTER 10-19 REPORT

We made it out today with a handful of guys. We headed out and found several areas of birds working and lots of Stripers rolling and swirling on top. The only problem was it didn't last long. We managed one 33 inch Striper and a couple that followed up the jigs then they were gone. we  looked around but couldn't really  get any good marks on the fish finder, a occasional small mark but we could never get on them. When I stopped the boat we just stood still, If we had a little drift things may have worked out better. I watched the guys trolling them but it was not in a concentrated area. There are some Stripers around now for sure, We saw plenty of them but couldn't catch them. I don't know whats worse not seeing any or seeing them and not catching them. We did some searching in other areas after that but only saw albacore busting on top.We also found a few pods of bunker but nothing eating them. We are just gonna keep trying . See you soon, Capt. Rob
