SEA HUNTER 4-13 STRIPERS ON THE WAY BUT NOT READY YET

I heard of a keeper caught today and a couple shorts. I also heard from a few captains that they saw Stripers swimming on top but they are just not ready to eat. There are no fish readings on the bottom everything seems to be staying up and catching some warmer water near the surface water temp on top is anywhere from 48 to 55 on the outgoing tide but it must be colder near the bottom and its keeping the Stripers from settling down. Most bass I hear caught are in very shallow water. Instead of going out and beating my head against the wall tomorrow and looking at the extended weather I'm going to stay dockside till Friday April 18th and then resume fishing daily. If there is any change I will let you know. Thanks for checking in and I will see you very soon.
