A sign of improvement today. We did make it out yesterday, sorry for no report but i didn't get home till after 10:00. Yesterday we headed south and used the jigs to catch some monster Blues. We didn't hook any Stripers but one was seen following a Blue hooked on a jig. Today we headed east plenty of bird life and fish busting but they were all Albacore. We tried drifting clams around the clam boat but nothing going on. We ended up pulling out the Eels and boated five keepers four shorts and lost a half dozen fish. The water is cooling down, plenty of bait around, just waiting for more Stripers to start showing up. See what tomorrow brings, Capt. Rob
