After yesterdays not so hot fishing with the clam baits, I decided to change tactics today and head down and try to get in on some of the good jigging that was had yesterday. Unfortunately there was not much going on today. No birds diving just some very scattered marks on the fish finder that only produced one Striper. I tried to wait it out hoping something would happen, but it never did so i headed back to the clamming grounds. Glad i did, anchored the boat and all hell broke loose. As many as seven on at a time. Ended up with a very nice catch of Stripers. Every day is different you never know what is going to happen out there. All I can tell you is i will do my best. Most of the time things work out, but sometimes they don't.Im Happy they did today. Thanks for checking in and thanks for fishing with us, Capt. Rob
