Started out the day in the spot we caught some Stripers yesterday. No birds, worked the fish finder and had a few shots of small fish. The bite kinda died so i headed south. I made it to the rocks not much going on so i decided to try the spot that i caught a few cod on a few days ago hoping to get lucky. Well lady luck was with me, we boated 17 Cod on the jigs. After that died I headed back to yesterdays area hoping the change of tide would get the Stripers eating. Ended up in about 2 miles of birds and hungry Stripers. Only three keepers but a load of shorts and we left them biting. We will be fishing tomorrow if anyone can make it. A few people from today asked about Monday I'm going to look at the weather if its gonna be very windy we will not be going, and tomorrow will probably be our last trip till the spring. Everyone have a Happy New Year and thanks for fishing with us, Its gratefully appreciated and I hope you had a great time. I will let you know tomorrow about Monday. If I don't see you have a safe winter. Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-30 STRIPER REPORT
A nice day for a change, weather wise. Started out looking between the channels for bird life and saw nothing. Headed down to the Rocks the area we have been fishing, no bird life there either. I had some scattered readings on the fish finder but not much going on. A handful of shorts and one Cod, not worth hanging around for. I Headed back to between the channels hoping for something. Got lucky, had one nice action drift with a bunch of shorts and one keeper. I made it again and caught another keeper and some shorts then they vanished. I found a few more shorts after that but that was it. Blew three whistles and came in. See what tomorrow brings. Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-27 STRIPERS AND COD!!!
What a difference a day makes. A little nasty today with the south wind but it was against the tide so the drift wasn't too fast. We had pretty good action all day. keepers, shorts not many Blues. We also had some bonus fish today we had eleven keeper Cod the biggest was caught by Jim Handy it went 17 lbs. Here is some of the catch. Tomorrow looks nasty so we will not be going. Thursday will be our next day out. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-26 STRIPER REPORT
I was hoping the weatherman was going to be wrong again today. We left the dock NW wind around 20 knots, not bad. Made our first stop between the channels today we had a keeper and some shorts then the wind came. headed down to the spot we have been fishing. Plenty of fish on the fish finder, but hard to catch with the 30 knot wind blowing. Super fast drift and a nasty sea. Did the best we could under the conditions. Ended up with a handful of keepers some shorts and not many Blues. Sorry no pics. Problem with my memory card. Tomorrow looks like a nice day we should have much better luck still plenty of fish out there. See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-25 MERRY CHRISTMAS
We were out yesterday, but not as productive. Plenty of marks on the fish finder but couldn't get the fish to bite as well. The fish were tight to the bottom and with the New Moon current and the wind it made things a little difficult. The best we could do was pick at the Stripers ans Blues. We will be out again tomorrow. Have a enjoyable day today. See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-22 STRIPERS!!!!!!!!!!
A nice day today with a nice gang of people. Everyone worked together what a pleasure. We had a very good morning bite today. Our second drift made the day, not sure how long it was i was on deck helping with the netting and gaffing. It was long and very good, many keepers, shorts and big Blues. After that most of the bird life was down except for the ones working on the schools of Tuna that were in the area. A nice site to see those big fish breaking water 30 to 80 lbers some rite next to the boat, but we didn't hook any. We had to work the fish finder for the rest of the day. We had shots of fish after that but not the mayhem we had experienced earlier. Still a very good trip. everyone left tired and happy. Lets hope it keeps up!!! I took a couple shots of the fish finder but that's when the action slowed up. Here is some of the catch. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 12-20 STRIPERS
First off Thanks to those who did come down today. Glad to see people actually read my reports. The day started off a little snotty with a pretty good North wind and the fish were not as concentrated together as they were yesterday. But we kept moving from patch to patch and catching in short bursts. Later in the morning things started to come together and we could stay on the fish longer and get some nice drifts with steady action. Ended up another good day. Plenty of fun, plenty of keepers, shorts and big Blues. Here are a few pics of some of the catch. I don't know what to expect as far as people go with the forecast for tomorrow but I will be there. Thursday looks like a good day. If the fish keep biting we will keep going. Thanks again and see you soon.

SEA HUNTER STRIPERS 12-19 JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT COULDNT GET ANY BETTER!!!
I know its around Christmas time and you have much to do, maybe the cash flow is a little low. Maybe you have no vacation or sick days left. If you can in anyway give yourself a present and get down and enjoy some of this fantastic fishing. A beautiful day today great fishing reports and the best i could do is get 10 people down to the boat today. See the picture of the fish finder that was under our boat for a drift of 1.7 miles today.Stripers and Blues. Had to throw keepers back. I hope to see you soon, Capt. Rob
