Not as good today. Went looking for the birds first thing. Nothing going on with that so we went to the bait. Caught some Stripers but i wouldn't call it good.

SEA HUNTER 10-28 STRIPERS AND BLUES
Started with the jigs today, plenty of bird life many different patches around. I tried them all and all we could get were Blues and one short Striper. I made a last effort with the bait before we came in and it paid off. All in all a good day with plenty of action. Tomorrows weather is evil don't even come down. Sunday is a maybe. I will check the forecast tomorrow and let you know. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 10-26 STRIPERS
Started out the day with a scenic tour. Headed down to the area we have been fishing, but no dice. Had to turn around and keep looking. I had a backup plan. I knew my buddy, Captain IRON HEAD from the Charter boat LITTLE HAWK caught some fish on Eels yesterday so i made sure i had some on board today. Good thing i did. We had 15 people and fell one Striper short of the boat Limit and lost around 10 fish. A BIG THANKS to Capt. IRON HEAD. Tomorrows weather looks like Rain. I was planning on staying home, but if i get enough calls i will shape up so if you plan on coming down make sure you give me a call tonight. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPERS AND BLUES 10-23
Captain Howard took the boat today. After a few drops with the clam baits and no success he went looking for some bird life and jig fish. What he found was plenty of big Blues to keep the rods bent and a couple nice Stripers mixed in. After the past couple days it was a HOME RUN!!
Be back at it again tomorrow. Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER LATE STRIPER REPORT 7-21
Sorry about the late report. I had to run off the boat and get to one of my daughter double header field hockey games. Anyway after two days sitting at the dock I had good feelings about today. A nasty windy day, that usually is Striper weather. I hit the first spot with the clams we had a keeper a couple shorts and lost one, then it died. I hit the second spot just at the end of the tide we had a keeper then we picked some fish at slack water mostly shorts but for slack water it was fine. Hoping on the change of tide the Stripers would start biting. We had a little shot, a keeper and a few shorts then we sat for about 15 to 20 minuets with no bites. I decided to pull anchor and look for the mother load that we found Tuesday. I couldn't pull it off today. I will give it hell again tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 10-18
Left the dock today with a bad feeling. A beautiful day lots of boats out. I figured yesterdays spot was out of the question too many boats. Tried a couple different areas with the clam baits but only a few shorts. It was time to do something even if it was wrong. I took a ride in search of bird life. Luckily I made the rite move. Found some bird life and put the jigs on. It was game on, Big Bass and Big Blues!! The fish were moving fast and hard to get on, but we did get a few good drifts on them. The biggest Striper went 25.4 lbs. Ended up a great day on the water. Lots of fun I love jigging the Bass. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 10-17 STRIPER REPORT
Good day today. We had the Stripers going for about a half hour 5 on at once steady fish on then it just stopped. Made a few moves caught a couple whenever we moved but couldn't get them biting good again. Many shorts a good amount of keepers the biggest was around 20 lbs.. a few guts didn't want their faces seen so we laid the fish on the deck and took a pic. Tomorrows weather looks good See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 10-16
Another windy day, Couldn't get the Stripers going good today. Had to make a few drops looking for the mother load but all we could get was a pick. Had two on a few times, it looked like the bite was going to get going but it never really did. About a 50 50 mix of keepers and shorts. The pool winner went 18lbs. Be back out again tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 10-15
We had a great start to the day two hours of steady action. Many more shorts today, yesterday a 50-50 mix today was about 75% shorts. Once the tide went slack and the wind started howling the Stripers just turned off. we had some gusts to 40mph and a sustained 30 mph.
Still a good day! The wind is suppose to back off some tonight and be nicer tomorrow. The pics are only some of the keepers from today.

SEA HUNTER 10-12 REPORT
Didn't fish today due to rough seas..My buddy on the charter boat HYPER STRIPER went out and got his but kicked but he did have great Striper fishing. He left the dock at 6 and was home at 9 with a boat limit. We will be going tomorrow as long as enough people show up. The weather forecast is for rain and drizzle, SE wind 5 to 10 mph. Fishing should be good!
