I took a ride today looking for some bird life but NG. I headed to a different area without all the boat traffic. and there was plenty today it was like a summer day and everyone was out. with no birds around we went to the clams, stopped the boat and about ten rods were bent over, unfortunately it was mostly dogfish and it was a slaughter. There were a few Stripers mixed in so we hung with it as long as we could, listening to the radio chatter and all the phone calls i was getting I knew i wasn't missing anything. around 11:30 I took off and tried to find something better but that didn't happen we caught a few Blues to end the day. All in all a frustrating day our best crowd this year and the slowest Striper trip in two weeks. Hopefully tomorrow things will get better. Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob
