SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT FOR 11-5

Not as good today. A beautiful day today, maybe to nice. We started out with the jigs and caught some short Stripers and Blues. decided to try anchoring up and trying the bait, we had the Stripers going, It looked like it was going to be a good bite then they turned off. We made a move and had a couple fish on rite away, then a couple more and that died i tried to wait them out hoping they would start up but only caught a couple more. I pulled anchor and tried to find some bird life to finish the day with the jigs, but not much happening, we caught a keeper Striper a short and one Blue in the last half hour, then we packed it in. The pool winner was caught on a jig by Billy O from Hazlet NJ his Striper went 18 lbs. Everyone caught fish either short Stripers or Blues but there was not enough stripers over 28 inches caught today to make me happy. Tomorrow is suppose to blow a gale Northwest gusts to 35 so we are not going to shape up. We will resume fishing on Saturday 11-7.

Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob
