I still have some spots open for the big Bass trip. I'm getting lots of calls for it. I am only taking 25 people so you either have to book it online or give me a deposit for the trip to hold your spot.
Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-24 REPORT
It was one short Striper today. Then it was BIG BLUES. I saw some pods of bunker today getting attacked I was hoping it was the Stripers but it was the Blues and they were hungry. We had very good action everyone was tired at days end. Tomorrow is going to be a wash out. It is suppose to blow east pretty hard and rain. With the new moon being Thursday and the east wind its going to make for excellent Striper conditions on Friday. I hope to go out with a band before switching to Fluke on Saturday. It looks like last call except for some afternoon striper specials I have planned.Hopefully I will see you Striper fishermen on Friday. Thanks for checking in , Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-23 REPORT
Sorry for the late report but I just walked in. I had a few things to take care of. We didn't get out yesterday as of lack of participation. I was pretty excited about today I really thought we were going to catch the Stripers. Boy was I wrong, we made lots of drops only to find a few Blues. I even gave it some overtime today trying my best. It was not meant to be today. the only good thing about that is it seems we cant get two good consecutive days in a row. I'm hoping tomorrow is a better day. Friday is more then likely our last morning Striper trip then we will turn our attention to the Fluke. I will however be running some special afternoon live lining bunker trips for the big Stripers that should be showing very soon in the schools of bunker that are starting to show in the ocean. I will keep you posted on that, as those trips will be limited to 20 people. I will see some of you tomorrow, thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-21 STRIPER REPORT
Sorry for the late report but Capt. Howard ran the boat on Sunday. I was up in Rochester, NY at my daughters college graduation .She received her degree in Biomedical Engineering, and I am proud of her for sure. One thing is certain she did not get her smarts from me. Anyway as you know how the old story goes, you should have been here yesterday. The internet is great for getting out info, but its also a double edged sword for the fishing business, I get hundreds of hits a day on my fishing reports and they are not all from my customers. People with there own boats big and small read my report, and yesterday Howard said there were a ton of boats around him. Howard said he had to leave the area because of the boat traffic and as nothing was happening. Boat traffic kills the Striper fishing. After he made a few moves and then finally at the end of the day he caught some stripers. It wasn't good, but some shorts and a handful of keepers were caught, and we did not get out today only one guy showed up. We will be going tomorrow and I am going to finish out the week with the Stripers even with Fluke season opening on Thursday. I will probably go for Fluke over the weekend. Two trips; 8am till 12:30pm and 1:30pm till 6pm. I am not sure if I will start fishing for Fluke daily after Sunday I will play that by ear and let you know at the end of this week. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-19 REPORT
The day started out OK with the Stripers but then went down hill. we caught about a dozen and lost a couple but only 4 keepers. We went on the hunt and found some good readings on the fish finder but the conditions were horrible. We boated a few big blue and lost a few. we made a few more moves but it was not meant to be . Tomorrow a little change in weather hopefully they will turn on. We will certainly do our best. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPER AND BLUEFISH REPORT
A better day today. It started out a slow pick on Stripers, keepers and shorts. When that died I went looking for the greener pastures again. I found them today but they were Blue pastures. We ended up with a nice catch of the big slammer blues for the last few hours. we will see what tomorrow brings. See you soon, Capt. Rob
