SEA HUNTER 4-30 STRIPER REPORT
It was a struggle today. Only a couple keepers a few shorts and lost a few. A note to you small private boats who read this report. Have a little consideration It is hard enough trying to catch fish for people. I don't need you guys trolling and circling me and dropping your anchor and or running through my chum slick . I am not your fish finder! Thanks Tomorrows weather looks great. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob. PS I don't know why the pics didn't come out today but they didn't.

SEA HUNTER 4-26 STRIPER REPORT
I actually didn't expect to get out today. When I woke up it was raining pretty hard. We ended up with just enough people to go. It was no great ball of fire but we picked all day with keepers and shorts. After all the rain and the cloudiness of the water I was happy with that. The next few days weather looks great. Ill see you then, Capt. Rob
SEA HUNTER 4-24 STRIPER REPORT
I didn't publish this post on Monday. I wrote it but never hit the publish button Sorry. We had some action with the shorts and a couple keepers early in the day. Around 11 o'clock everything stopped biting. We looked around but couldn't get them to bite. Tuesday is a wash out. Ill see you Wednesday.
Thanks Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-22 ITS STRIPER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After watching the trollers catching this past week and just watching them bring fish in and we could only catch a few on bait, finally we had our shot today and it was how I remember it to be! The only bad thing was only 9 guys showed up to enjoy it. It was very good action with shorts and keepers. We kept all we were allowed and threw the rest back.Tomorrow should be another good day judging by what I saw today.

SEA HUNTER 4-19 STRIPER REPORT
We made it out today with not many people. the fish were not up today crashing on the bunker. We started out throwing the shads on fish finder reading, swe had a couple fish on and lost them. I decided to drop the anchor as were doing some rolling with the strong southeast wind. We did manage a few keepers and one short on the bait. Nothing great but a definite improvement. We will be there in the morning hopefully the weather forecast doesn't keep everyone away.

SEA HUNTER 4-18
I took a ride out yesterday with only a few guys to try and get a good report up. as we were heading out we saw miles of bunker and tried a few drifts but nothing going on. I took a rode and tried a few drops but nothing. I looked around and all i could see on the fish finder were bunker they were everywhere but no stripers feeding in them. Today we only had Four people so we didn't go.My buddy Pete on the Hyper Striper gave me a call to tell me the Stripers were erupting in the bunker and it was a great day. Hopefully this will spark some interest and we can get out there and get this Striper season started. Don't wait for the good reports and pics come out and live it!
See you tomorrow, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-15 NO STRIPERS BOATED TODAY
We made our first stop on some nice readings on the fish finder. no takers on the bait we did have one guy throwing a shad in the bow of the boat and had a nice Striper follow the shad to the boat but would not take it. We made a few more drops and had one hit. At the end of the day I found loads of bait with some fish in them. We tried throwing the shads and jigs and had one more Striper follow it to the boat and that was it. The trollers had some fish but nothing hot. The water temp seemed to have cooled down the past few days. The fish are here but not very aggressive. We need the water to warm a few degrees and we should be in good shape. We will not be fishing Easter Sunday but will resume on Monday and we will be fishing seven days a week from then on.
I will see you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-14 FIRST TRIP OF THE SEASON
It was not good fishing today. We managed one keeper in the middle of good marks on the fish finder in a few different areas. We watched the trollers catching all around but they just did not want the bait. I did see a few areas of birds hitting the water but they were all in NY waters. And unfortunately the Striper season does not open in NY waters till tomorrow. Anyway it was great to get back out especially on such a nice day. We will see what tomorrow brings. See you then, Capt. Rob
