SEA HUNTER 7-27 FLUKE UPDATE REPORT
We had a few better trips this week with the keepers it looked like it was ready to really get going. Then Sunday came and it was back to good action, but not many keepers. Today the morning trip started good, but fizzled out. The afternoon today was a whole different ball game we had a drift that went over two hours with plenty of action, and a very good amount of keepers. By the end of the afternoon only two people didn't go home with keepers. Spearing was the ticket in the afternoon, the gulp did catch some but the boat bait did better, and you didn't have to work the baits very much as the drift was pretty quick. Like I always say you never know. One thing I do know is we look for the fish, and don't stay in a area that is not producing. And once again the threat of thunderstorms kept the crowds light, and it was a beautiful day on the water with a nice cool breeze and no rain at all. The weatherman was wrong again; what else is new?! Thanks for checking in, see you soon, Capt. Rob.

SEA HUNTER 7-20 WEEKLY UPDATED FLUKE REPORT
Nothing really has changed thats why I'm only doing weekly reports. Two trips a day seven days a week, I would sound like a broken record if I reported every day. The fishing is good there are lots of shorts to keep the poles bent, but there are not lots of keepers. There are some of my regulars who bring home keepers almost every trip, but these guys are working for it. They never keep the rod still always moving it bouncing it up and down, I was watching a guy last week as we were catching fish, and he was having a bad day. He said he didn't even have a bite, I put a new rig on for him the one he had on was not one I would use, I baited the hook and dropped the line to the bottom and bounced it a few times and no lie within ten seconds I had a Fluke. It was a short, but it was a Fluke. After I took the fish off I asked him if he ever played baseball, and he said sure I have. So I told him when you get up to bat if you just stand there with the bat on your shoulder the whole time chances are you will strike out. You may get lucky once in a while and walk, but if you swing the bat your chances of getting a hit are better. Its the same with fishing. Some people are out just to enjoy the day, and are happy with catching just a few fish and that's fine. I never force people to catch fish if your happy I'm happy, I will offer my advice and so will my crew to try to get you to catch more fish, but we won't force you. The Gulp baits are still producing the bigger fish 8 out of 10 times and more and more people are using it. You can buy it at Dicks sporting goods or your local bait and tackle store. I even started to carry it on board if you forget to pick it up or you want to try it once on the boat. Your chances are very good that you will catch fish if they are gonna be keepers that I don't know. There are some very big fish mixed in with the smaller ones the pool winners this week on most trips have been from 5 to 7.5 lbs Here are some of the pics. Thanks for checking in, Hopefully see you soon
