SEA HUNTER 11-30 STRIPER REPORT
Another day with plenty of shorts. High hook was 36 but no keepers. Without the keepers the amount of interest in the Striper fishing is dwindling. Today was a nice day and only 11people showed. Tomorrow is suppose to be a nice day. If you plan on coming down give me a call this way i can see if its worth you coming down. I will post tonight if it looks like a go. Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-29 STRIPER REPORT
If you wanted to catch lots of Stripers today would have been the day. A very lit crowed for a nice day. A couple guys kept count one guy had 32 Stripers another had 27. The action was very good till about 12:30 then the bite slowed up. We did not get any 28 inchers we had a few that were close. If your looking for some good fun now is the time. Here are a few action shots. See you soon, Capt. Rob

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 11-27 STRIPER REPORT
Except for a little drizzle it was a nice day. A little swell in the ocean but not bad at all. Started the day looking for some birds it looked pretty dismal but by mid morning we were in. I found one small patch of working birds but by 10:30 there was plenty of bird life with some pretty big areas of fish. WE couldn't get any keepers but we picked away at the shorts. It felt good to see the life back after Tuesdays dead sea. The next few days weather looks good. Im gonna head back to the same area tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER 11-25 REPORT
We left the dock today with high expectations after having good fishing on Sunday we were hoping it was going to continue. About fifteen minutes out, a few charter boats that left early were saying there was no life anywhere. I was hoping it was just a tide thing and that on the next tide about 10:30 the life would start showing. That theory went out the window. It was like the dead sea out there today, All of us out there today looked hard in different areas, all the bases were covered, every stone was unturned but the Stripers were not eating today. We threw in the towel and turned our 3/4 day trip into a Half day trip and headed home. The bait is still there the water temp is still fine I'm sure the Stripers are still around, but something turned them off today. We will not be fishing tomorrow a very strong North wind is in the forecast. As of now the Thanksgiving day trip is on from 6:30 till noon. If there is any change I will post tomorrow night. Hopefully the weather is good and the fish are biting. See you soon, Capt. Rob.

A better day as far as the fishing goes, we had plenty of action with the short Stripers but we could not find one that was bigger then 27 inches. Tomorrow we will not be fishing South winds gusts to 40. Hopefully Tuesday will be OK. And don't forget Thanksgiving day 6:30 till noon. Hopefully the weather is good.

SEA HUNTER 11-22 STRIPER REPORT
Today was more of a scenic tour then a fishing trip. We did some searching today. All that bird life we have been seeing didn't materialize today it seemed the Stripers weren't hungry today, All the bait is still here so Im sure the Stripers didn't go anywhere We ended up with one keeper a handful of shorts and some Blues. Hopefully they will be hungry tomorrow. See you then, Capt Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-20 STRIPER REPORT
We stayed close to home today the fish were up all day under diving birds. The bite was a little better then yesterday but with the amount of fish that are here it should have been better. Top man had a dozen fish ten Stripers and two Blues. We did have a showing of bigger fish today and landed a few keepers. Mike Wittig from Bayville NJ landed a 23 lber to take the pool. Here are some pics. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-19 STRIPER REPORT
We had some brave souls out today, It was cold. A little snotty in the morning heading out we took a little spray which turned to ice on the deck. We passed up some bird life on our way out only because the deck was icy and we would have done some rolling and I didn't want to get anyone hurt. Once we got into the ocean it was nice and I headed down the beach on a report of bird life Once we got there it looked good but only a couple short Stripers and one Blue. I left that and started looking, finally found some really good looking life with plenty of fish but it was one of those days that they didn't want to bite. We looked at more fish then we caught. Some would follow the jig rite to the boat but not hit it. We caught a handful every drift mostly shorts and Blues we did land one keeper, but it should have been a much better bite. I went looking for greener pastures near the end of the day but didn't find any. Another one of those frustrating days. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-16 STRIPER REPORT
What a difference a day makes. It was a pleasure today watching fish being caught instead of watching them swim around the boat. We had good action all day with the Stripers and big Blues. We even caught some keepers and there were a good amount that were just a little short. It
seems like every other day these fish want to bite. One thing for sure
there are plenty around. On the way home today there were many different
areas of birds working over fish. We will attempt to get out tomorrow
the weather doesn't sound all that nice but we will be there if you want
to give it a shot. Thanks for checking in, See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-15 REPORT
Another frustrating day of watching fish swirl around the boat and having a hard time catching them. Again we had fish in a few different areas today and it was the same story. Occasionally we had some shots at them but from what I can see we should be crushing them. I looked hard to try and find the big fish today but all we caught were shorts and big Blues and believe me we were not alone it sounded like a overall condition today. Tomorrows another day. See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-13 STRIPER REPORT
The fish had me scratching my head today. Plenty of birds working fish rolling, good marks on the fish finder. We could not get them to bite today. tried a few different ares today but pretty much the same results. We hit one area that produced a good shot of big Blues. But it was over as fast as it started. We ended up with around 30 big Blues and we let go a handful of shorts for a very small crowed . I talked to boats all over today and it sounded like the same thing. One day feast next day famine. A very strange fall so far. I don't know what will happen tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-12 STRIPER REPORT
What a difference a day makes! We left the dock today in dense fog not sure what to do today after yesterdays fishing. I headed out down the channel and i could see fish swirling all over the top. Stopped the boat and started catching. We had a good morning bite until the end of the tide about 11:00. Mostly shorts and big Blues but a few keepers mixed in. Once the tide started running out and the fog started lifting around 1:00 there were birds and fish all over the place. Its amazing when there is no boat traffic to see the amount of fish that are really around, and they were close to home which made it even nicer. We stayed local all day and picked away. Everyone caught today. We ended up boating four keepers and lost the biggest one around ten feet from the boat. A bunch of Blues and a bunch of shorts. The shorts mostly between 24 and 26 inches. I also heard of fish being caught in other area today. One thing for sure there are plenty of Stripers around so hopefully the bite will get more consistent now with the colder weather it should keep the boat traffic down, Like I always say you never know. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-11 REPORT
It was not like yesterday. We struggled today we made a few stops in birds and swirling fish and could not catch them. Tried to get away from the birds and look for marks on the fish finder found some small marks and caught a couple fish. I waited for the tide to turn hoping that would get things started but NG. Took a long ride to find plenty of birds working over fish and could only pull a few fish per stop. Kept looking and stopping but the same results everywhere I went. Finally at 3:15 I put up the white flag and called it a day. A very frustrating one at that. I don't know where the big fish from yesterday went but I am going to try and find them again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 11-10 BIG STRIPER REPORT
After a week of good action with short Stripers and Blues. Today i figured would be about the same. I haven't really heard of any big fish being caught anywhere and just hoping the big fish would show soon. Well today they did! We had very good fishing with big Blues and big Stripers on Diamond jigs and Shads It felt good to see poles bent in half with big fish. The biggest Striper went 29 lbs.Like I always say you never know and every day is different. We will be back at it tomorrow and hope for a repeat of today. The weather looks great so come down and I will try to get you a big one. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
