SEA HUNTER 4-30 THE STRIPER BLUES
We couldn't get through the Blues today to get the Stripers, I heard a few boats managed to get a couple but we had what we captains call the Donut. No Stripers for us and we tried many areas of birds If you like action you couldn't ask for more with Blues up to 10 lbs. We tried some bait at the end of the day at one of my favorite spots to try and get a few Stripers, But you know what we caught? Blues, It is a invasion. Never have I seen this amount of Blues this early in the season. The second picture down is hundreds of blues next to the boat. It didn't come out very good but take my word they are there. We should be in prime Striper time know. Hopefully it picks back up soon.
Thanks , Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-29 STRIPERS AND LOTS OF BLUES
We didn't even bother with the bait today, We went rite to the jigs. plenty of bird life in many many different ares.We moved from area to area in search of the Stripers but with the amount of Blues we could only get a few nice Stripers out of it. The action was fantastic with 5 to 9 lb Blues, you couldn't have asked for better. I'm sure everyone left with sore arms . Tomorrows weather looks nice so if you want to bend your rod and have some fun i will see you in the morning. Thanks, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-26 STRIPERS
The threat of rain scared most people away today. Went out with a small group Stayed on one drop most of the morning and picked away till slack water. If you plan on coming down tomorrow you may want to rethink that. The marine forecast is for NW winds with gusts to 35 and that will be against the tide and will make for horrible conditions. The SEA HUNTER will stay dockside tomorrow and resume again on Saturday. See you then, Capt. Rob

The company changed my blog they said it is new and improved. Im not happy with it. I will try to set it up better when I have more time to play with it

SEA HUNTER 4-17 STRIPERS SO CLOSE BUT YET SO FAR!
Not as good today. Started with the clam baits only a couple shorts. headed south and caught five on the jigs. Received the call of the mother load, unfortunately all we could do is drive by them as they were too far in federal waters and its not worth the fine. But the birds were working and we could have had a ball if they were just within the three mile limit. The Coast Guard is really cracking down and have been patrolling daily and checking many party and charter boats for illegal fish. They were out again today just a couple miles away from us. We finished up the day with the clams and had a pick for the rest of the day. We will try again tomorrow. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 4-15 and 4-16 STRIPERS
Sorry for no report yesterday I had to run off the boat and didn't get home till Ten. And today's is late as I just walked in. Anyway yesterday was as struggle for me I zigged when i should have zagged. Today i came out with a vengeance and put plenty of Stripers in the boat. Hopefully do the same tomorrow. Today we used bait all day but be prepared for jigging also, you never know. Here is some of the catch. See you soon, Capt. Rob
