After what i heard from the couple boats that were out yesterday I wasn't expecting much. But it wasn't that bad today. Don't get me wrong it wasn't good fishing but we picked at the shorts, Sea Robins and a odd keeper Fluke. We should see a daily improvement as the water gets cleaner and the bottom settles down.Capt. Howard has the boat for the afternoon. I know he had some shorts and one keeper on the first drift. I didn't get a update on the rest of the afternoon. The weather is great, The ocean and bay are flat calm. Hope to see you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-29
I hope everyone weathered the storm ok. I am still without power at home along with many others. I went to the boat today in Staten Island and grabbed the laptop with the wi-fi to get this report out. The boat will be back in the water tomorrow and back in Atlantic Highlands and we will resume fishing on Wednesday the 30th for the Fluke. I don't know what to expect after this storm and all the fresh water runoff but as always i will do my best. Don't forget the Fluke season ends September 25th this year. Hopefully they will hang around till then. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-25 SEE YOU AFTER THE STORM
We made it out for the morning trip today. Not good, couldn't fish the channels bounced around. Only a couple keepers, some shorts, I made a call to see if i could pull the boat out of the water for the Hurricane and I got Lucky. but i had to bring it today. Hopefully its not too bad and our docks stay together. I hope everyone rides the storm out OK and hopefully see you soon. I will keep you posted.

SEA HUNTER 8-24 REPORT
The action has been good but the amount of keepers the past few days has not been as good. It all depends on the drift. I know many people are thinking the Fluke season ends on Labor Day, but that's not true. The Fluke season ends on September 25th this year. It looks like Sunday and Monday will be a washout. We should be able to fish on Saturday. I will keep you posted.
See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-18 FLUKE REPORT
Yesterday afternoon Captain Howard had good fishing with plenty of action. Today the morning conditions were horrible and all we could do was pick at the shorts with a odd keeper. The afternoon today we had a wind shift in our favor and the action was steady with the shorts with keepers mixed in. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-17 FLUKE REPORT
The fishing was good today. We did have a elderly gentlemen that we had to rush to the Coast Guard station As he was not looking too good, Not sure if it was heat stroke but when we got him to the Coast guard station he was looking much better but the paramedics were waiting and took him in a ambulance to the hospital. Better to be safe then sorry. His wife is going to call me and let me know his condition. We went back to the fishing grounds and had steady action with the shorts and some nice keepers mixed in. Jim Duff took the pool with a 8 lber. We also had one that went 6 lbs and a few other nice fish. Capt. Howard has the boat for the afternoon. I will update you tomorrow. Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
