We caught some Fluke today still mostly shorts with the odd keeper mixed in. Tomorrow we will go back to Stripers for the weekdays. The Striper report over the weekend was slow but that is to be expected on a nice weekend with hundreds of boats out this time of year running around like nuts, that's why I choose to Fluke on the weekends in late May and early June. We will be out searching for the Stripers tomorrow and hopefully come back with a good catch.

SEA HUNTER HALF DAY FLUKE REPORT 5-30

A beautiful day on the water we picked at short Fluke most of the day with a occasional keeper mixed in. Not good conditions today wind against tide in the morning and the drift was too fast in certain spots in the afternoon, that restricted the areas we could fish, but we managed. Till tomorrow Capt. RobFriday, May 29, 2009
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY HALF DAY FLUKE 8-12:30 & 1:30-600 Mon. to Fri. STRIPERS 7:30-2:30
We Will fish for Fluke this weekend and go back to Stripers on Monday. I hope to see you the weekend weather sounds great.
SEA HUNTER FRIDAY THE 29th STRIPER REPORT
Another fine day. If the last hour or so didn't slow up I would consider today a Slam fest. We still picked at the end of the day but it wasn't fast and furious with multiple hookups like the first few hours. The problem is i got spoiled this week. There were, and will be plenty of days when a slow pick will seem good. We will give the Stripers a reprieve this weekend and target the Fluke on our Half day schedule. But come Monday we will be hunting the Stripers again. I hope to get a couple more weeks out of the Stripers before we start Fluking Full time. And thanks to everyone who drove down to the boat in the rain. It actually turned out to be a beautiful day. Thanks for checking in. Ill post again tomorrow

SEA HUNTER 5-27 ANOTHER STRIPER SLAM

STRIPER TRIP CANCELLED DUE TO STRONG NE WINDS 5-27
Strong NE wind with gusts to 30 made me stay tied to the dock today. I would have never made it to the area where yesterdays Striper slam took place due to heavy seas. I spoke to a friend in the morning who attempted to go fishing, around 6:45 am he said he was turning around and was headed back to the dock. Better to be safe than sorry. Tomorrow is another day

SEA HUNTER MEMORIAL DAY STRIPER SLAM

Weather looks good tomorrow.dont miss the boat.

If you weren't on board today you missed out. Made our first stop Stayed about 20 minuets NG. Started looking for marks on the fish finder, there they were, dropped anchor 4 fish on 5 fish on the slaughter began. It worked out perfect, it was the end of the tide the lines were straight up and down and everyone around the boat was hooking up and catching fish. All mixed sizes, we threw back allot and went home with what we needed. I hope we can do it again tomorrow!!!!

SEA HUNTER OPENING DAY FLUKE REPORT 5-23

Some of todays Fluke
A little disappointed in opening day Fluke fishing today. The conditions were not good we were limited in spots to fish with the hard east wind but i still thought we should have seen more fish. one thing is for sure the main schools did not arrive yet. I'm sure it will get better. We will fish for Fluke Tomorrow and go back to Stripers on Monday 7:30-2:30

SEA HUNTER 5-15 STRIPER REPORT

Not like yesterday. Started in same place as yesterday, I had to wait for the tide change that took forever today to see if the Stripers were going to bite there. Unfortunately they didn't. We caught the pool winner there along with a few blues and lost another Striper. Made a couple moves and ended up with a pick of mostly short Stripers, Blues and occasional keeper Striper and one 10lb blackfish that had to be released as the season is closed. Tomorrow I will have a differant game plan.

SEA HUNTER 5-14 STRIPER REDEMTION
What a day!!! The Stripers didn't stop eating we left them biting today. Some bigger ones too. Adam Kopec boated a 25.5 lber. Mike Szabo put a 19.5 lber in the box and Steve Melendez caught a 16.5 lber. You never know what to expect when you go fishing. If you read yesterdays report you probably would have stayed home today, and waited to see how today's fishing was. If this was you, you missed out. Everyone left happy today, and ill be back out tomorrow and we will see what happens. Here is some of today's catch. Great job today guys! Thanks for showing up and letting me get my revenge on the Stripers today!!

SEA HUNTER 5-9 STRIPER REPORT

Nice crowd today of very nice people. Unfortunately the fishing was not as good today as its been. We had a slow pick till about 11:00. I decided to move in search of the mother load. I did not succeed in locating it today. I will admit I'm spoiled with this past weeks fishing. Today we ended up with 20 keeper Bass, some shorts and Blues and I wasn't happy. Looking back there are plenty of days that i would and will be extremely happy with a catch like that. Tomorrow they are talking GALE WINDS so we will not be going out. So this year I am going to spend Mothers day with my Wife daughter and my Mom. We will be back on the water on Monday, the weather looks good for next week so if you can make it down we will be going. Here is some of today's fish.
Thanks for checking in Capt.Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-4 Did not fish today

Weather kept people away today. What a shame Striper fishing is red hot and I'm at the dock. Looking ahead, Wednesdays weather forecast looks OK. Some NE wind tonight and SE for tomorrow that will keep the water churned up and the fishing should remain good. I hope to see you.
Cliff, here is the picture you wanted from Saturdays trip. I also threw one in from Sun. that I didn't post in the report. Ill see you over the weekend, rest up that arm
