SEA HUNTER 11-29 REPORT

A beautiful day on the water. The only bad part was the fish didn't give us full cooperation. We had a few good drifts with good action but most drifts were just a pick. We ended up with only seven keeper Bass, quite a few shorts and Blues. And about 40 of those endangered species, the Spinney Dogfish. Maybe tomorrows NE wind will stir things up again.

SEA HUNTER 11-28 Report

I headed out today with a nice gang of people thinking to myself this is gonna be a good day, considering how good the past couple of days have been. We rounded the hook at 8:00 and entered the ocean, a nasty south swell had developed overnight and made the ride a little uncomfortable. We found some birds working around the channel and made a few stops. We had good action, but no keepers. We left that area and headed to were we have been catching the big fish. We stopped in the same area we have been fishing the past couple days, the fish finder lit up, but the best we could do is pick at the fish. The south swell must have effected them and they didn't want to bite. We ended up with a handful of keepers, and picked at the shorts and Blues. The wind came around to the West in the afternoon things should be settled down for tomorrow.

THANKSGIVING DAY STRIPERS

Another very good day. Plenty of action all day with Blues, Short and keeper Stripers. Here is some of todays catch. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And Thanks to everyone who spent the morning with us and I hope you had a great time.

A very good day today plenty of action with a much better showing of bigger fish. Don't forget tomorrow Thanksgiving Day we will depart at 6:30 and get back around noon. If we don't see you have a great day. The weather looks good the next few days so try to make it down.

SEA HUNTER 11-24 REPORT

Another good day with the jigs. Plenty of action and a little better showing of keepers. Another nice Striper caught today on the jig. Yesterday 25.8 lbs, Today 25.6 lbs. Tomorrows weather doesn't look good but the rest of the week looks nice. Don't forget THANKSGIVING DAY 6:30 till Noon.

SEA HUNTER 11-23 REPORT

Plenty of fish Stripers and Blues more Bass than Blues. Hit many different areas today looking for the big Bass but it seemed to be the same everywhere Short Stripers and big Blues. Definitely no shortage of action.. One of the highlights of the day was when we boated a Big Bass that looked like it was going to break the 30 lb mark. But when we put in on the scale it went 25.8 lbs still a beautiful fish to catch on a jig. Tomorrows weather looks good and i will post pictures from today's trip tomorrow as I left the memory card on the boat.

SEA HUNTER 11-22 REPORT

I went to bed last night thinking i would be fishing today. NW wind 10-20 with occasional gusts to 30 not ideal conditions but manageable. I woke up and heard the wind and put on the marine forecast. NW 20-25 with gusts to 35 GALE WARNING. I headed to the boat and it was freezing. This was not going to be no fun for anybody even if you are catching fish. So i made the decision to stay tied to the dock today. A few boats did decide to go out but better them then me. Tomorrows weather looks much better. Im sure we will catch some fish and have some fun.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 11-21

Very good action again today. Many areas of fish. Stripers and big Blues mixed. A few more keeper Stripers than on yesterdays trip. Plain AVA 47 jigs are working well some guys threw the shads today but they don't last long with the blues around. Be back at it again tomorrow. Don't forget we will be fishing on THANKSGIVING DAY 6:30am and we will get back at noon the latest. That trip is $45.00

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 11-20

Bird life and fish up everywhere today. Solid action all day, The big Blues made another showing today but definitely more Stripers than Blues. We could only manage a couple Stripers over 28 inches. Most of the Stripers are between 24 and 26 inches. Its lots of fun but if you are looking for a Striper dinner i cant promise you that. I'll do my best again tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER 11-18 & 11-19

The wind and the cold kept everyone home the past couple days. Tomorrows weather looks better and hopefully we can get out there and have some fun. Don't forget Thanksgiving Day we will be departing at 6:30 and getting back by 12:00 the price is $45.00.

SEA HUNTER STRIPERS 11-17

Plenty of bird life around today we stuck with the jigs. Easily over 200 short Stripers And around 50 Blues. But only 4 Stripers that went over the 28 inch mark. It looks like the Blues are starting to depart the local waters and the Stripers are starting to take over the water temp is dropping it was 53 today. Now we need the big Bass to show in more numbers. It shouldn't be long now.

SEA HUNTER WEEKEND REPORT 11-15 11-16

We didn't fish today due to lack of people due to weather. Tomorrow doesn't look good West to NW wind with gusts to 40 mph. Its gonna be nasty out there. We will be running our annual Thanksgiving Day Striper Trip. We will depart at 6:30am and get you back by noon so you will still have plenty of time to get home for dinner. The price for that trip is $45.00.

SEA HUNTER 11-14 STRIPER REPORT

Left the dock in dense fog today. Turned the point of the hook and it was nasty a big swell from the south.I didn't want to run around in the fog rolling my but off trying to find bird life so we went on anchor and clammed. It took a bit to get the fish going as we got out there on slack water but when the started to eat it was good fishing loads of shorts but some nice keepers mixed in. the bite started to slow up at the end of the day so we pulled anchor and tried some eeling to end the day. Good move we boated some nice Stripers and lost twice as many. Tomorrows weather doesn't look all that nice we may be restricted were we can fish. They are talking south winds with gusts to 30 the Ocean is gonna be nasty.

Didnt fish today. Weather forecast kept everyone home. Tomorrows weather looks better.

SEA HUNTER 11-12 REPORT

Super fishing today on Jigs. You couldn't ask for better fishing, Nonstop action all day. The only thing was it was mostly big Blues with a sprinkling of Stripers. A few Keeper Stripers were boated and some shorts but it was hard to get past those Blues to get the Bass.

Veterans day Report

Pretty good action today on the Jigs. The Blues were big and relentless with some short Bass mixed in. Only a couple Stripers that went bigger than 28 inches. I'll give it hell again tomorrow.

Not as productive today. Had a couple good shots of fish but most of the day was just a pick. Only a couple keepers boated today. I'll give it hell again tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER REPORT 11-9

Very good action on the jigs again today. A mix of Bass And Blues again today. The first couple stops it was a 50-50 mix but as the day progressed it was more Blues than Bass hitting the deck. It was a great day on the water and everyone left with sore arms.

A pretty nasty day weather wise but very good action today a fifty fifty mix with Stripers and Blues. More keeper Stripers today than yesterday but the best is yet to come.

We had the Action today with big Blues and Stripers on the jigs but only a couple keeper Stripers were boated.

Much better Striper fishing today. Less boat traffic and NE wind only one bluefish today. Loads of short Bass today and a better showing of Keepers. High hook had three keepers and a few people with two. Fished the bay the first two hours with jigs.What a pleasure only a few small boats out today, and the guys knew what they were doing they didn't race around like nuts and knock the fish down.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT ELECTION DAY

Stuck with the jigs all day today. First couple stops Bass and Blues mixed no bass 28 inches. Went to another area it was all Blues. Left that in search of the Stripers. saw some birds flying around but not hitting the water fiercely saw a couple swirls in the water and started jigging. A few Big Blues came up then a Striper. A KEEPER! what a good feeling after yesterday, All day without one. We made a few more stops it was a pick of short Bass and big Blues. Saw some birds inshore of us and it was a slaughter for the rest of the day. The only thing it was all Blues. We ended the day with about 35 short Bass one keeper and 300 plus Blues. Everyone on board caught plenty of fish. Soon the blues will be gone and it will be all Stripers, The best is yet to come.

Plenty of fish around we had action all day with Stripers and Blues. The bad part was we could not get one Striper that made the 28 inch size. We really missed the slot fish today as everyone would have went home with a Bass dinner, most of the fish went from 24 to 26 inches. Everyone on board caught Stripers and Blues and it was a fun day on the water. Tomorrow is another day.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 11-2

Bird life in bay first thing had two cracks at them then the life vanished. Headed to ocean not very nice out there,more bird life but mostly big Blues . Tried another area mostly Short Stripers. Hit another area on the way home mostly Bass and a few Blues. Looked back in bay on the way home saw a few patches of birds but the fish didn't get a chance to make up because of the boat traffic. The action was Pretty good today with more Stripers showing up in different areas but not enough keepers. The boat traffic should be lite during the week so we should have better results.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 11-1

Beautiful day on the water. Lots of boats out today. Lots of bird life again today tough to catch. It was a mix of Stripers and Blues in the morning but not good action. I didn't even try to clam today with all the local boat traffic plus the reports i was getting. I did make two drifts with eels but that was NG either. I received a call from my friend on the Charter boat HYPER STRIPER that there was bird life in the bay so we put the Shads and Storm Lures on knowing it would be all Stripers and no Blues and it was worth the stop. We had one really good crack at them and put another four keepers in the boat including the pool winner plus threw back about thirty shorts. It was really good till about thirty boats showed up and knocked them down and they never came back up. Today was the first good showing of Stripers in the bay. Tomorrow is another day.
