Sea Hunter. Halloween Stripers

 Not a great ball of fire but we ended up catching a half dozen nice size fish and lost a couple   I will try to get pics up later I’m having difficulty with the photos.  Tomorrow. Be prepared for some jigging with the NW wind.  Thanks.   Capt Rob

Only 5 people showed today. Turned out to be a beautiful day

SEA HUNTER NOT FISHING TILL SATURDAY

 I was going to try on Thursday original forecast was for 10-15mNE winds now they raised it to NE 15-20 gusts to 25 and Friday gusts to  30 . Saturday looks good as far as the wind. Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 10-25 MONDAY TODAY WAS THE DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Today we finally had the conditions. The first couple drifts were pretty slow with not much movement then the third drift the current came and all hell  broke loose. We had to take a few pics of some big ones that we had to turn loose I would say 50% were to big a couple in the 40 lb class. It was a great day unfortunately now we have crap weather heading our way. Right now it looks like  Thursday may be ok  to fish we will know better on Wednesday. Ill let you know. see you soon, Capt. I am writing this report from my phone as I have a christening to run to after I dock   Only one Striper today Again no drift   We will be fishing tomorrow It it looks like Tuesday and Wednesday for sure and maybe Thursday. SEA HUNTER STRIPER CHARTER 10-23

 Well we didn't get the donut. Lousy conditions all day with hardly any drift. We did manage a couple on live eels. Tomorrow we will mix it up w h some live eels , shads and flutter spoons. No more charters from tomorrow on its open boat 7am till 2 pm See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 10-22 ITS TIME TO GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I have a charter tomorrow to start the Striper season. Sunday we will be starting our open boat trips. Fishing everyday (weather permitting) from 7 am until 2 pm. I'm sure some of you heard that a nice shot of fish moved in last week and there was some good Striper fishing, just so you know it didn't last. I hear the past two days has been horrible and the fish vanished. That happens this time of year but it will bounce back hopefully tomorrow. We are going to find out and I will post tomorrow afternoon how we did. Just to let you know if you are going to buy tickets in advance please don't buy them way ahead of time, the weather this time of year is very unpredictable and believe me we are not going to sell out the advance tickets are more of a convenience for people who like to use a credit cards.
