Sorry for the late report but I just walked in. Well the weather was great, but not the fishing. Only a couple keepers today and about a dozen shorts. Hopefully tomorrow will bring better results.
See you then, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-29 STRIPERS
Not as good as yesterday, but we did put together a catch . We did run into a small patch of bird life and had great marks on the fish finder but only a few people had jigs ready and the rest tried to drag a clam, which sometimes works but when the birds are working the jig is usually the ticket. The few that had the jig ready caught a Striper on it, unfortunately it was one quick shot and they were gone and never showed again. It was good to see the birds working we have not seen that enough this year. The rest of the fish were caught chumming on anchor with the clams. Tomorrows weather looks great. Hopefully you can make it. Be ready for bait fishing, maybe some jigging and maybe even some live bunker fishing. There are plenty of bunker in the bay and coming up the beach but i have yet to see fish exploding in them. It could happen any day.
See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 5-27 STRIPERS
A slower day today with the fishing. It was like a holiday weekend out there with boats. Once i saw all the boats I knew we were in trouble. We ha a morning pick till the tide went slack, then it was a just a few shorts. I went looking in a couple different areas away from the boat traffic but not much luck. Tomorrow should be a better day.

SEA HUNTER 5-24 STRIPERS THEY ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!
Headed out today hoping for the best after struggling most of the week. I knew the bite would happen again and I was praying that this full moon would get the Stripers started again. I know many people gave up on the Stripers and were going for the Fluke instead, and I did not want to switch over yet, but I have to pay the bills . On Tuesday a couple of die hard Striper men who usually come out with me for Stripers went on another boat for Fluke instead, I told them when the Stripers start biting again and we are pulling in 30 and 40 lbers I don't want to see you back over here, you can keep Fluking. Of course I was just kidding, Howard and Paul even though you lost faith I will take you back. A meatball sandwich wouldn't hurt. Anyway here is the report. It was a excellent day with some nice size fish, Boat limit early, played catch and release for awhile and we left them biting and docked early, Now the bad news, as of now they are talking NW wind for tomorrow with gusts to 35 if that's the case we will be staying dockside Saturday and hopefully the wind will decrease for Sunday. I will wait for the updated forecast later tonight
and if there is a change for the better I will post it around 7:00pm.
Hopefully I will see you soon, Capt. Rob
