SEA HUNTER 8-29 TRUE FLUKE REPORT

After a few days of very ruff fishing, today we saw a improvement with more keepers. A few very nice fish. 7 lber and a couple around 4 lb.Still some shorts mixed in. Some people managed a few keepers, others a couple and some with none. It looks to me the end of the Fluke for this year is not far away. Hopefully I'm wrong. Anyway the weather is fantastic there are still a few Fluke around now, so don't delay. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-24 FLUKE REPORT

The Fluke fishing has slowed up the past couple days. We are still catching some but not the numbers we have been seeing. Hopefully just a temporary setback. We did not get a whale sighting today but heard it was back in the area on our way home today. Here is a video taken from a phone of the whale yesterday. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-23 FLUKE AND WHALE REPORT

Today the Fluke fishing was not as good as yesterday, but we got a real treat as a Humpback whale came next to the boat. It actually was 15 feet away and was heading toward the boat  and came up with his mouth wide open like it was going to eat the boat. What it was doing was feeding on a school of bunker that were along side of us. Then it came and swam rite along the length of the boat, It was inches away from the hull  and tangling up a bunch of lines. We have been seeing the whale the past few days, but it really put a show on for us today.A passenger on board took these pics and sent them to my deckhands phone Thanks! See what tomorrow brings. See you soon, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 8-21 TRUE FLUKE REPORT

The morning trips so far this week have been very good. Plenty of action in the channels with keepers and shorts. The afternoon current has been running very hard and making us search in different areas. Most afternoons we can put together a catch. Summer is almost over and I'm not sure how long this fishing is going to last. Hopefully Ill see you soon, Capt. Rob
