SEA HUNTER 11-30 STRIPER REPORT

Plenty of bird life early today. Expected to see a remake of yesterday with all the small Stripers, But to my surprise we had some bigger fish in the mix today. I even went down and caught two keepers. The bad part was the bite was over by 10:00. and the seas were nasty. I took a look down south a little, But the further south I went the nastier it was. I headed back to where I started but NG, No birds and no marks on the fish finder. So instead of getting our buts kicked for nothing I called it a early day and we docked at 12:30. Tomorrow is a washout for sure, Hopefully Thursday will be OK I will post tomorrow and let you know.

SEA HUNTER 11-28 REPORT

What a beautiful day today. Headed out with great expectations. Started looking between the channels for birds and there was none. I talked to some boats to the South and they said there was no bird life anywhere down there. So i headed to the East I heard there was some life out that way, So away we went. When i arrived there it was like Alfred Hitchcock's Movie the Birds. It looked like the mother load was there, And we were going to slaughter them! Unfortunately that was not the case. We caught a few fish out of it but it was over in no time. We then bounced around and caught a few Blues on marks on the fish finder. and looked around but not much going on. It was better than yesterday but it was not good. Hopefully tomorrows better.

SEA HUNTER 11-27 REPORT

If i knew the wind was going to blow as bad as it did today, I would have stayed home. Today was my worst trip of the season. I never burnt so much fuel to catch so little. The wind was relentless today gusts to 42, Lousy conditions. Plenty of fish around Good marks on the fish finder and we would catch one or two. Hit areas with plenty of birds working, Same results. The fish would not cooperate. The biggest Striper caught was 27 inches, We had some Blues and a couple hand fulls of small Stripers. As of now the marine forecast for tomorrow is NW wind 10 to 15 if that's the case we should have a much better day.

SEA HUNTER 11-26 STRIPERS

Conditions today were not the best, a stiff west wind with some gusts that hit 40. It made for some super fast drifts and hard to catch the Stripers, We had a couple shots early in the trip till the wind came up and the fishing started to fall apart. We Saw plenty of fish but not easy to catch. Only a few keepers today some shorts and big Blues. Sorry no pics today I had a camera malfunction.

SEA HUNTER THANKSGIVING DAY STRIPERS

The Stripers were a little finicky today. What should have been a slaughter by the marks on the fish finder was just a pick, When the tide changed i moved to a different area and the bite was much better. We ended up with a good amount of keepers and shorts and a few Big Blues. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We will be back at it again tomorrow.

SEA HUNTER 11-23 THE BITE IS BACK ON

What a nice day today. The weather was great, The company was great, and so was the fishing. The Stripers finally decided to eat . We fished a couple different areas today. One was mostly Stripers and the other was a good mix of Stripers and big Blues. We used the jigs all day, We even got to break out the Rubber Shads at the end of the day, As the Stripers were all over the top. White was the hot color.(Cliff you would have been in Heaven) Below is some of the catch. Unfortunately there is a Gale warning up for tomorrow NW wind with gusts to 35 or 40. The SEA HUNTER will not be participating tomorrow. But the weather looks good for the Thanksgiving Day Stripers trip. Don't forget we depart at 6:30 on Thursday and get back around noon. If i don't see you then have a Happy one

SEA HUNTER 11-21 REPORT

Good conditions today, Started out with super marks on the fish finder. We were going over plenty of Stripers but the best we could do was pick at them. We made three drifts and had one keeper and about twenty shorts, When it should have been a massacre. We left that area and bounced around. We could not get away from the big blues after that. I tried a few different areas but the same results plenty of Blues and only a few Stripers mixed in. hopefully as we get off the Full moon the Stripers will start to bite better. We will see what tomorrow brings. Dont forget this Thursday, THANKSGIVING DAY STRIPERS 6:30am till noon.
Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
