SEA HUNTER 6-30 FLUKR REPORT

A slow pick in the morning, the last drift of the morning was the best. hit the same spot in the afternoon the first drift was about a hour we picked the whole time shorts and keepers, then the wind came and the drift was too fast. We moved around and tried a few more spots but not much to talk about the hard wind really hurt us.

SEA HUNTER 6-29 FLUKE REPORT

Despite the lousy conditions in the morning we managed to put some keepers in the boat and get some short action. good conditions on the afternoon trip with more keepers. there is a carnival in the Harbor so parking is a little crazy. My suggestion would be to pull up in back of the boat and unload your stuff and I will show you were to park.

Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
Sorry about your picture Ed i don't know why it came out sideways, at least your wife can see you were on the boat today.

SEA HUNTER 6-26 REPORT

Better fishing today at least on the morning trip. The afternoon was slow. It all had to do with drifting conditions today. We couldn't fish the same spot in the afternoon that we did in the morning due to wind against tide that equals no drift. At least the weather is starting to get better.

Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-22 FLUKE REPORT

A definite improvement today. Good action all morning with more keeper Fluke hitting the deck. The first drift in the afternoon was very good with keepers and action, then the wind came and the drift was too fast and the action slowed up. All in all a good day all we need now is good weather.

Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob

SEA HUNTER FATHERS DAY FLUKE REPORT

Happy Fathers Day. Another day of lousy weather , will the rain ever stop? The Fluke fishing remains the same, you pick at the short Fluke with the odd keeper. We boated one beauty today just under 6 lbs. still waiting for it to break open. Tomorrows weather sounds iffy north winds to 30 mph. We will see in the morning.
Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-20 FLUKE REPORT

The Fluke fishing has been pretty slow the past couple days. A hand full of keepers and some shorts, but far from good. The freshwater runoff could be a factor from all the rain, there is plenty of bait in the bay to bring and hold the fish not sure what the answer is there are plenty of theories but only time will tell. We do our best everyday we are out and it is frustrating trying so hard and not succeeding but that's all i can do is keep trying. I know all the other boats in the area are having the same results and if they say different they are not telling the truth. I don't BS i tell you how it is. Its going to get better, I just hope its soon. I will let you know.

Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob

SEA HUNTER 6-16 FLUKE REPORT

Slim pickings today. The wind kinda hurt us today we could only fish certain areas due to drifting conditions. Everyone caught some Fluke today but few were keepers, and the action was not as fast as previous trips.

Tomorrow is another day.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 6-10

Covered allot of ground today. I tried a different area first thing in the morning, as i didn't like yesterdays result in the area we have been catching the Stripers. We hooked up pretty quick when we arrived with a nice keeper but then the dogfish took over. It seemed like everywhere i went the dogfish were there. Not a good day. We will finish out the week with the Stripers but Saturday we will start fishing the Fluke seven days a week, two trips daily 8:00-12:30 and 1:30-6:00. Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob

WE WILL BE STRIPER FISHING SAT. AND SUN. THIS WEEK NOT FLUKE!!!

Not many keeper Fluke around yet so we will stick to the STRIPERS over the weekend.

SEA HUNTER STRIPER REPORT 6-5

With the lousy conditions today I was pleased with the results. We had a pick most of the day a few times you would get shots of Stripers two three on at a time. The biggest fish went 20 lbs caught by Lynn Urban. Sorry no photos today I left both my memory cards to the camera home today. We will be Striper fishing Sat. and Sun with the Fluking being as slow as it is 7:30 till 2:30
Thanks for checking in, Capt.Rob

SEA HUNTER STRIPERS 6-4 REPORT

The rain kept many people home today. A small group of regulars showed up and a couple new faces. we headed out with 10 people, the action was not as fast as yesterdays fishing but we did come home with the boat limit of 20 keepers. No complaints that's for sure. Tomorrows weather doesn't sound all that great but if enough people show we will go.
Thanks for checking in, Capt Rob
